About the Role As a Field Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence by performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting complex industrial machinery. You will leverage your mechanical expertise to minimize equipment downtime and drive efficiency in a high-output environment. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive maintenance protocols to ensure peak equipment reliability and performance. Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and labor hours within digital asset management systems to maintain accurate equipment history. Drive operational improvements by identifying opportunities to reduce turnaround times and optimize asset utilization. Conduct thorough failure analysis to implement effective repair and reuse strategies for critical components. Uphold rigorous safety and quality standards to ensure a secure and productive shop environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project-based equipment overhauls and technical upgrades. Qualifications Required Skills Proven mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience maintaining industrial machinery or heavy equipment. Proficiency in the safe operation of pneumatic and standard hand tools. Strong digital literacy with the ability to utilize tablets and office software for reporting. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanical technician or similar technical role. Preferred Skills Direct experience working with hydraulic systems and pressurized industrial equipment. Prior background in the oil and gas or heavy manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) or similar inspection methodologies. Demonstrated commitment to safety and a strong, reliable work ethic.
