Forklift Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on forklifts (propane and diesel) Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Repair or replace defective parts (motor, brakes, transmissions, etc) Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA compliance Maintain accurate service and repair records Respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely manner Test equipment to ensure proper operations after repairs Requirements Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Valid driver's license Own tools preferred but not required Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
