Forklift Mechanic

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in forklift maintenance and repair, with the ability to work on various types of machinery and equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues accurately and provide effective solutions. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Major responsibilities of the position is to perform basic and in depth repairs of forklift and other material handling equipment in a safe and professional manner. As well as performing routine maintenance and safety inspections. Operate industrial machinery as needed for repairs or maintenance tasks. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete repairs efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working in the shop or on-site. Experience Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of forklift systems and components. Familiarity with forklift operation and industrial equipment is highly desirable. Experience in diagnosing mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
