Telecom crews need to reach the next pole. Construction timelines can't slip. As a Mobile Crane & Aerial Device Diesel Specialist with Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) , you'll ensure mission-critical equipment is safe, compliant, and ready. CTOS is a 30+ year market leader with 40+ locations, 2,600 employees, and a 10,000+ unit fleet serving utility, telecom, rail, and construction customers. Your mission Own field diagnostics and repairs on bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and other utility/construction equipment. Troubleshoot diesel powertrains, hydraulic systems, and electrical controls; execute component replacements and perform precise adjustments. Conduct regulatory and safety work including DOT inspections and dielectric testing on CTOS rental and customer equipment. How you'll operate Function as a remote road mechanic handling most assignments within 150 miles of Las Vegas. Travel overnight approximately 25-50% across Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California. Your toolkit and rewards Service truck outfitted with a crane, welder, and compressor. Competitive compensation with overtime eligibility. What sets you apart 7+ years of shop and field experience supporting utility, construction (yellow iron), or heavy equipment — with exposure to CAT, Deere, Komatsu — and medium/heavy-duty trucks. Deep capability across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical disciplines. Self-directed, organized, and collaborative; comfortable working independently at customer sites. Current driver's license required; CDL Class B preferred; personal tools required.
