Job Description

Heavy Duty Master Mechanic Twin Village Recycling is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Master Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you'll repair and maintain a wide range of equipment to keep our operation running safely and efficiently. If you enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving, this is a great opportunity.
Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM; overtime opportunities available
Pay Range :
$40 - $50, depending on experience What You'll Do Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, braking systems, and mechanical components. Repair trucks, fork trucks, excavators, dozers, and other large equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition. Inspect equipment, run diagnostic tests, and determine repair needs. Test and adjust repaired engines and systems to ensure proper function. Replenish fluids, lubricate components, and maintain equipment reliability. Keep accurate logs, work orders, and maintenance records. Order parts when needed and help maintain shop inventory. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety practices and procedures. Assist with other shop tasks as needed (e.g., hydraulic repairs, painting, etc.).
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic or equipment mechanic Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic tools, and measurement equipment Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and follow repair manuals, diagrams, and written instructions Strong commitment to safety Physical ability to perform all essential job functions
Preferred Qualifications:

Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
