We represent Caterpillar, Mitsubishi, Jungheinrich, Forklift manufactures along with multiple aerial companies. The material handling industry is an essential part of the global supply chain that helps move products and food that we use every day. This industry is innovative and stable and offers excellent pay and opportunity. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Road Service Forklift Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently in the field. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electric, propane, and diesel forklifts at customer sites Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Complete service reports and document repairs accurately Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and repair recommendations Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle Respond to service calls in a timely manner Qualifications Previous experience as a forklift mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, diesel technician, automotive or similar field Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions Welding and fabrication experience is a plus OEM forklift experience preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company service truck & gas card Paid holidays and vacation Health benefits Overtime opportunities Ongoing training and career growth We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values customer service, and wants to be part of a growing company.
Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
