Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician specializing in heavy equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling a variety of mechanical and pneumatic equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This position includes both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, with opportunities to work in the shop and in the field. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance on heavy equipment including backhoes, graders, wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators, milling machines, and pavers Troubleshoot and complete emergency repairs to minimize equipment downtime Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Test, calibrate, and adjust equipment to meet performance and safety standards Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and repair equipment Perform equipment overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records for all equipment Collaborate with other technicians to prioritize repairs and manage work orders For road technician assignments, travel to job sites using a company-provided vehicle to perform field repairs Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment Strong knowledge of mechanical and pneumatic systems Experience with engine diagnostics and vehicle diagnostics Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics Hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Ability to work independently and handle complex repairs Preferred Qualifications Experience using advanced diagnostic tools and software Strong problem-solving and communication skills DOT physical certification or ability to pass a DOT physical for road technician roles Willingness to participate in ongoing technical training Why Work With Us? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Henrietta, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $83200.00/yr.
