We have openings in our Service Dept in Liverpool, NY and are looking for motivated individuals with at least 1-year mechanical experience in the Aggregate Industry or a related field. Trainee positions are also available for candidates to get into the aggregate industry! At Emerald Equipment we offer industry training, with the ability to grow as a specialist in the Aggregate equipment industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing aggregate equipment used in construction and mining settings.

Duties:
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance at customer sites
- Manage & maintain tools, parts and equipment (including service truck)
- Weld and assemble components as needed
- Interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues
- Service and repair of heavy machinery, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, basic electrical components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged parts
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Strong internal and external communication skills
- Ability to work and stay on task independently
- Mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in welding and assembly techniques
- Ability to interpret schematics for troubleshooting
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and safety protocols
- Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair preferred. Familiarity with 12V & 24V DC power, experience with 240V, 480V & 3
- phase power preferred.
- Mechanic with a CDL A license is a PLUS!
- Aggregate Equipment Experience an A+ !
