Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated on the road Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, with a focus on customer service and efficiency. This role requires experience in diagnosing and repairing various mechanical issues, ensuring that all vehicles are safe and functioning optimally. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including oil changes, hydraulic changes and fuel services Conduct thorough equipment diagnostics to identify mechanical issues using hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with OEM specifications. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Collaborate with team members to align repair schedules and ensure timely completion of work. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options. Operate forklifts safely when moving vehicles or heavy equipment within the shop. Adhere to safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks. Maintain a clean and organized crane service truck. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within a equipment environment. Strong knowledge of diagnostics, hydraulics, and diesel engine repair. Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Familiarity with OEM standards and dealership practices is preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver's license is required (non cdl); additional certifications related to mechanics are a plus.
