A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Engineering technician

Hire Location:

Rochester, NY 14606 As an Engineering technician you will Experience in production assembly. Perform work in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment. Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions. Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation. Work with very fragile and precise assemblies. Assist with identifying problems and suggest solutions. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices. Work with a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment. Proficiency with measuring tools (verniers, calipers, scales, etc.) Perform as an individual contributor as well as within a team environment.

Ideal candidate will have:

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Perform work in manufacturing and/or prototyping environment. Read engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics and detailed work instructions. Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation. Work with very fragile and precise assemblies. Assist with identifying problems and suggest solutions. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices. Work with a variety of hand tools and specialized equipment. Proficient with measuring tools (verniers, calipers, scales, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline. Aerospace or Defence industry experience. Experience with shop equipment including but not limited to Mills, Lathes, Grinders, and precision measuring equipment. Lean Manufacturing practices. Qualified candidates should

• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
