Summary Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on Ready Mix trucks, on-highway end-dump trucks, tractors and trailers, and heavy construction equipment. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Compensation and Company Benefits $23-$26 per hour. (commensurate with experience) Paid Time Off Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer recommendations Operate and inspect equipment to identify defects or maintenance needs Complete minor repairs and assist with equipment assembly and disassembly Test equipment after service to ensure proper operation and efficiency Clean and maintain parts, tools, and work areas Accurately record time, parts usage, and maintenance activities Support other maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation of vehicles and equipment Maintain regular, predictable attendance and adhere to assigned schedules Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skill Requirements High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record preferred Commercial Class A or B license is a plus Must be at least 18 years old Ability to maintain a valid driver's license that meets state requirements Physical Requirements Frequently crawl, kneel, bend, and reach overhead Occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs Climb vertical ladders to access equipment The work environment includes exposure to: Outdoor weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and loud noise, moving mechanical parts, occasional work at heights or in areas with vibration Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
