Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic with experience in aerial lifts to join our growing team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently through regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for both rental and customer-owned equipment Complete Preventive Maintenance (PM) services and Annual Inspections in accordance with manufacturer and safety standards Conduct thorough safety inspections on all equipment Maintain accurate service records and documentation Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and sales personnel Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working on construction or heavy equipment Experience with boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Excellent customer service and communication abilities Valid Driver's License required

Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods Frequent use of hands and arms to reach, handle, grasp, and operate tools and equipment Ability to climb on and off equipment, including aerial lifts and telehandlers Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in tight or awkward positions Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Visual acuity to perform detailed inspections and diagnostics Ability to safely operate equipment and maintain awareness of surroundings in a busy shop environment

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay:
