The ideal candidate will be energetic and a self-starter. Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Candidates should have a strong heavy-duty truck mechanical background and be willing to work on the shop floor and in the field if needed. Salary Based on experience Hours Approximately Mon-Friday 7:30-4:30 Saturday as needed Requirements/Responsibilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of light, medium and heavy-duty truck suspension, steering and brake repair and maintenance
• Minor fabrication experience, i.e. Roof patches, panel patches, ICC bumper replacement of semi-trailers
• General maintenance of semi-trailers
• Knowledge of Trailer Suspension, ABS, Air Brake and Electrical Systems
• Knowledge of Truck & Trailer Federal Annual Requirements
• Work in conjunction with the Mechanical Manager to ensure adequate personnel on hand. This includes locating, interviewing, hiring and managing said employees.
• Generate and update customer quotes using Maddenco software
• Generate and update repair orders in Maddenco
• Take customer calls throughout the day with the ability to answer their questions and quote jobs for them
• Set inventory stock levels and complete orders as needed with established vendors working with Parts Manager
• Complete inventory cycle counts
• Keep inventory received and put away in the correct locations as needed
• Ensure all charges are correct on repair orders before closing
• Contact customers to address any concerns, changes in repairs, etc
• Ability to hold self and employees accountable
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Must be excellent at typing
• Must be efficient using Microsoft word and excel
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Must be able to multitask
• Self starter and extremely motivated
• Valid driver license, cleaning driving record Experience
• Minimum 5 years in medium and heavy-duty truck suspension, steering systems and brake repairs
• Minimum of 5 years in inventory management
• Minimum of 3 years in employee management and work scheduling
• Must have experience dealing with customers
