You will leverage your background in complex machinery to diagnose, repair, and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment, ensuring our operations remain efficient and reliable. Responsibilities Execute complex repairs on hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems to ensure peak equipment performance. Utilize advanced diagnostic software and digital tablets to track service intervals and manage work order documentation. Apply independent judgment to troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective corrective actions. Mentor junior team members on technical best practices and safety standards. Maintain accurate electronic records of all maintenance activities to support fleet longevity. Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate the timely transport of equipment and necessary components. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience as a military mechanic or in a similar heavy equipment maintenance role. Advanced mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex schematics and diagrams. Proficiency in using digital diagnostic tools and mobile technology. Must possess personal tools appropriate for heavy equipment repair. Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. Preferred Skills Formal training or certification from a trade school. Prior experience in field service or high-volume maintenance environments. Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.
