The optimal candidate will be experienced in working on everything from a 1/2 ton pickup truck to a Class 8 tractor. Must be a self starter, and someone that can work independently while also working with the shop manager to keep the flow of work through the shop. Job Duties PM Service / DOT Inspections Perform service and repairs to fleet vehicles per company maintenance schedules and/or from driver vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) Truck and Trailer Alignments Diagnose and troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs Road test vehicles (if qualified) to diagnose problems or test repairs Steering and Suspension repairs Brakes Clutch and Driveline Auto repairs, brakes, rotors, steering components, suspension etc........ Exhaust Welding and light fabrication Lift gate repair Job requirements Valid Drivers license (CDL preferred but not required) Minimum 3 years experience as a Class 6-8 Truck mechanic or Auto experieince.
