Forklift Mechanic | $35+ | 1st Shift

Overview We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a 1st shift opportunity in The Dalles, Oregon. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to keep operations running efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Follow all safety policies and procedures Work closely with operations to minimize downtime and improve efficiency Qualifications 2+ years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Basic electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus Experience with motors, conveyors, bearings, and gearboxes Ability to use hand and power tools safely High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus

Pay:

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
