Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our organization. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will primarily be responsible for varying Heavy Equipment Mechanic work on trucks and equipment. We have a large fleet of mostly CAT equipment to include a large fleet of medium sized and large sized trucks. General Heavy Equipment Duties Diagnose heavy equipment malfunctions and conduct repairs in a timely fashion to maximize equipment up time. Must be versed in all tier 4 Emissions technologies Constant Diagnosing, Troubleshooting, and Repairing Tier 4 Emission related problems General Preventative Maintenance on all Heavy Equipment Work on small engines/Tools (jumping jacks, Cut off saws, Water pumps) Rebuild Hydraulic Hammers and tampers Heavy Engine Repair/Rebuilds minor and major Work on Hydraulic pumps and hydraulic functions on heavy equipment Rebuild hydraulic cylinders

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience required. Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation. W.A. Petrakis is a drug free workplace, employees must pass pre-employment drug screening.
