Job Description

Position Summary:
Penn Mechanical Group, a leading Natural Gas and Oilfield Contractor is seeking an immediate opening for field mechanic. All applicants MUST have experience in regards to maintenance on heavy duty trucks, pick-up trucks and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of heavy haul trucks, vacuum trucks, pick-up trucks and light equipment. Diagnosing mechanical issues and failures Ability to inspect machines, engines, transmissions and run diagnostic testing to discover functionality issues Conduct repairs to meet required qualifications on trucks, heavy equipment, light equipment Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve those in a timely manner Keep accurate daily records of work performed (invoicing, time sheet, equipment logs, etc.) Ability to be
On-Call Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be willing to work outdoors and occasionally in adverse weather conditions. Must be willing to work weekends when required. Must be willing to work out of town in Western PA, Eastern OH, and Northern WV, when required. Must be willing to travel regionally, when required. Must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Must be willing to participate in safety training and meetings. Must be willing to work as part of a team. Possess ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Possess ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs. Possess ability to stand for extended periods of time. Possess ability to safely mount and dismount heavy equipment. Possess adequate close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception. Possess ability to interpret operator's manuals.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to pass a drug test Driver's License Inspection license and CDL license preferred.
