Heavy Equipment Field Technician

Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking to hire full-time Heavy Construction Equipment Technician for the Erie Branch. This position will be provided with a company vehicle which may meet CDL requirements. This role also works both in the shop, and in the field.

A successful candidate:

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic equipment such as backhoes, grader, wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators, milling machines, and pavers used in the construction industry. Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufactures' specifications. Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating, on equipment and vehicles. Weld or solder broken parts and structural members, using electric or gas welders and soldering tools. Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace sub-assemblies such as transmission and crawler heads using hand tools, jacks, and cranes.

Skills:
