Job Title:

Appliance Installer CALECO is an industry leader within the commercial laundry equipment space. The company provides laundry equipment and services along the mid-Atlantic region. CALECO operates central laundry facilities in apartment buildings, colleges, and military bases. Over the last 80 years, CALECO has grown to become the largest privately owned and operated commercial laundry vendor in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. The company is seeking an Installer of Appliances to join the team. The selected candidate will be responsible for a high volume of removal and installation of commercial laundry equipment. The candidate should have strong mechanical aptitude, must be a self-starter and willing to work in a team environment. CALECO installation trucks will typically depart from headquarters in West Chester, PA and return later in the day.

Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

$23/hour +

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

Must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck or another assigned vehicles. Must be able to obtain and maintain (a company paid for) PA DOT medical card to operate box truck and continually maintain a clean driving record. Manual transportation of laundry equipment using a hand truck over uneven surfaces, inclines as well as up and down stairs. Must be able to disconnect and connect washers and dryers and/or other laundry equipment or have ability to learn. The installation and removal of equipment will require standing, bending, and lifting to connect/disconnect appliances. Knowledge of installing gas lines and dryer venting is a plus, but on-site training will be provided. Run machines and check for leaks and to ensure units are all working correctly. Periodic vent cleaning work shall be considered "fill-in" work for Installers/Driver's when available. Required to fill out driver/daily trip sheet which includes, mileage, time of arrival and completion of each stop as well as the ability to write our short notes for issues arising during the day. Logging and uploading pictures and details of a job in progress onto Company Cam platform Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work and communicate with various personnel including managers, install team members, CALECO employees, install location employees and/or tenants. Must be able to work safely, smart, and effectively. Focused driven, ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills. Ability to work unsupervised and maintain a consistent pace to complete daily job assignments.

Other:

Pass drug, background and obtain a DOT card when required by state or company. Must have own hand tools or able to obtain. Work in various environments and various weather conditions Work overtime as needed. Working and installing at various sites, trucks can arrive back at the warehouse at various times including after hours.
