Heavy Construction Equipment Technician - In the Shop

Tracey Road Equipment, Inc. is seeking to hire full-time Heavy Construction Equipment Technician, onsite in the shop for our Wilkes Barre Branch.

A successful candidate:

Diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical and pneumatic equipment such as backhoes, grader, wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators, milling machines, and pavers used in the construction industry. Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufactures' specifications. Perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating, on equipment and vehicles. Weld or solder broken parts and structural members, using electric or gas welders and soldering tools. Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace sub-assemblies such as transmission and crawler heads using hand tools, jacks, and cranes.

Skills:

Ability to use appropriate power and hand-held tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, replace and test equipment Working knowledge of electrical systems Ability to work independently with minimum direction Ability to read and comprehend diagnostic service information Ability to gather date, compile information, and prepare routine paperwork Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures Tracey Road Equipment is an affirmative action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
