Forklift Technician (Experienced Road Technician)

We're looking for an experienced road technician who can represent our company in the field and get the job done right.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Road Service Technician to diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage their time efficiently, and confidently troubleshoot a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to customer sites to diagnose and repair forklifts and equipment Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, diesel, and LP gas systems Perform on-site repairs with minimal supervision Complete preventative maintenance as needed Accurately document work performed and communicate with customers Maintain a professional attitude while representing WestLift in the field

Requirements:

Valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred) Proven experience as a forklift, diesel, or heavy equipment technician Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in a field service environment Must have own mechanic's tools Ability to pass a drug test and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive forklift repair experience Field service experience (road tech background) Experience with multiple equipment brands Strong electrical diagnostic skills
