This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on-site at customer locations, providing expert service and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. Your mechanical expertise, customer service skills, and hands-on approach will drive success in this fast-paced environment. We are committed to supporting your growth with comprehensive training and ongoing development. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, air brake, suspension, and other mechanical systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, tractors, car haulers and farm machinery. Fabricate, assemble, and repair hoses using OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and schematics to ensure precise fit and function. Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, and crane trucks to access work sites safely. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for hose replacement or equipment repair projects at customer sites. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction and good documentation of the service provided. Skills Proven experience working in mechanical environments, heavy machinery a plus but not necessary. Strong mechanical knowledge/interest required. Knowledge of industrial equipment, farm machinery, and welding techniques are a plus. Ability to read schematics and OEM manuals accurately for precise repair requirements. Skilled in fabrication techniques including assembly, welding, soldering, and strong sense of ability to problem solve. Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, cranes, tractor-trailers, and other industrial vehicles. Experience with hydraulic and industrial hose systems preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance issues. Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills for interacting with clients on-site or remotely.
