Your expertise will keep everything from mowers to utility vehicles running at peak performance, directly contributing to an outstanding golfing experience. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of golf course equipment, including mowers, greens rollers, aerators, and utility vehicles. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently. Conduct diesel engine repairs, electrical system diagnostics, and heavy equipment servicing with precision. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding, and soldering techniques to repair or modify equipment components. Maintain detailed service records and logs for all repairs and scheduled maintenance tasks. Assist in equipment inspections, ensuring safety standards are met and equipment is operational before use. Support the procurement of parts and supplies needed for ongoing maintenance projects while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with heavy machinery or automotive repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair, electrical systems, and equipment repair. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures for complex machinery. Experience working with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands is advantageous. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and performing heavy lifting safely. Customer service experience is a plus, as teamwork and communication are essential in this role. Prior experience in sales or parts management related to machinery is beneficial but not required.
