Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Hydraulic Service Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of hydraulic systems and sub-systems on a variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and mobile equipment. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of the equipment used in a range of environments and applications. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic systems using schematics, OEM manuals, and diagnostic tools. Repair and replace hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, cylinders, hoses, and fittings to restore equipment functionality. Recommend and implement custom modifications to hydraulic systems to meet specific operational needs. Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, tractors, forklifts, presses and other industrial manufacturing and municipality machinery. Operate heavy equipment such as mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts to assist with installation or repair tasks. Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings and OEM manuals to accurately diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, hydraulic presses, and other tools for repairs and reassembly tasks. Qualifications Minimum of Five years experience in hydraulic, pneumatic, mobile equipment or electro-mechanical equipment (mechatronics). Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm equipment and manufacturing equipment. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot hydraulic systems effectively. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and other tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical ability for heavy lifting and perform repairs in various environments (i.e. heights, high heat, dirty, etc.) with occasional overnight travel requirements.
