In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of golf course equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will directly contribute to providing a seamless experience for golfers and maintaining the pristine condition of our course. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, applying your technical skills to keep our golf course running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all golf course machinery, including mowers, greens rollers, aerators, and utility vehicles Diagnose mechanical issues using various tools and techniques, including the use of ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Repair or replace faulty parts such as belts, blades, hydraulic components, and electrical systems to minimize equipment downtime Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference Assist in the setup and calibration of specialized equipment to meet operational standards Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for safety and efficiency Collaborate with course staff to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to daily operations Skills Strong mechanical aptitude with experience repairing outdoor power equipment and golf course machinery Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting techniques, including the use of ohmmeters for testing circuits and components Knowledge of hydraulic systems, engine diagnostics, and general mechanical repair practices Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance logs accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment issues Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities Join us as a Golf Course Mechanic and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering an exceptional golfing experience through top-notch equipment performance.
