Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Agricultural Equipment Shop Mechanic to join our team. This position offers year-round employment with a mix of equipment repair, maintenance, fabrication, and seasonal field work. The ideal candidate enjoys solving mechanical problems, working independently, and being part of a growing company with opportunities for advancement. Primary ResponsibilitiesEquipment Repair & Maintenance Diagnose, repair, and maintain agricultural equipment, tractors, pumps, dragline systems, trailers, trucks, and support equipment Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, and mechanical systems Complete welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed Maintain service records and communicate repair needs with management Keep shop organized, clean, and operating efficiently Seasonal Field Operations During manure application seasons, mechanics will also assist field crews with: Operating agricultural equipment Manure pumping and application operations Setting up and tearing down drag hose systems Installing, monitoring, and maintaining pumps Troubleshooting equipment issues in the field General labor associated with pumping operations Qualifications Experience repairing agricultural, diesel, construction, or heavy equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Welding and fabrication experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects Valid driver's license with a clean driving record CDL is beneficial but not required Agricultural background preferred Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Schedule Flexible hours during summer and winter months Long hours during spring and fall application seasons Some overnight travel may be required Overtime opportunities available during peak seasons Benefits (Available after successful completion of a 180-day probationary period) Medical insurance reimbursement Paid time off (PTO) Cell phone reimbursement Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Advancement opportunities as the company continues to grow Why Join Us?
