About the Role As a Mechanical Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in the assembly and integration of complex vehicle components. By applying your expertise in electrical and hydraulic systems, you will ensure that every unit meets high-performance standards and contributes to the overall reliability of our fleet. Responsibilities Interpret complex technical blueprints and schematics to guide precise component installation. Execute the assembly of vehicle accessories and systems using specialized jigs and fixtures to ensure structural integrity. Integrate hydraulic and electrical systems into truck chassis, ensuring seamless functionality and safety. Maintain a high-standard, organized workspace to promote efficiency and safety during the installation process. Utilize digital tools and basic computer systems to track progress and document quality assurance checks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets while maintaining a focus on zero-defect outcomes. Operate heavy machinery, including overhead cranes and forklifts, to safely position materials and components. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent educational background. Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs independently and handle heavier loads with assistance. Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks around and under vehicle chassis. Commitment to following rigorous safety protocols and quality standards. Preferred Skills 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, construction, or mechanical environment. Proven proficiency in hydraulic system maintenance and electrical wiring. Expertise in operating a diverse range of hand and power tools. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical instructions into finished work.
