Job Summary:

Foundry Utility is responsible for knowing how to perform all jobs associated with Disas and Furnacnes, including but not limited to Disamatic Mold Machine, Inducotherm Autopour, Transfer Ladle and Melt Furnace.

Minimum Requirements:

A successful candidate must have a High school diploma or GED. Minimum three to five years related experience and/or training preferred. Working knowledge of PC and Windows based software. Existing Math Skills. Existing Mechanical Skills. Ability to learn the maintenance software. Forklift License (obtained during training period). Bobcat Experience Preferred. Walden Experience Preferred. Small hand tool Knowledge. Shovels. Brooms. Ability to move to any position and/or shift in the plant to work on a temporary or permanent basis to meet our work demands and/or level our workforce staffing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Give breaks and fill in for Disa and Furnace crew members. Operate forklifts and other small equipment such as Daewoo, Bobcat and Walden. Transfer iron from the melt furnace to the autopour by way of electric Hoist. Remove slag from ladle Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance as required. Responsible for clean up throughout the plant for items such as shoveling sand and cast media. Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with the 5L guidelines.
