In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting construction, agriculture, and industrial projects. Duties Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, mulchers, forklifts, tractors, and farm machinery Use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues Fabricate parts or components as needed using hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to ensure proper fit and function Conduct hydraulic system repairs including hoses, cylinders, pumps, and valves to restore optimal operation Service transmissions, air brake systems, suspension components, and alignment settings for various heavy machinery Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency Operate heavy equipment safely during testing or repair procedures while adhering to all safety protocols Qualifications Proven experience working as a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician or Service Technician in a dealership or industrial setting Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), and brake systems Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and power tools for troubleshooting and repairs Ability to read and interpret OEM schematics and technical manuals accurately Skilled in welding, soldering, fabrication techniques, and the use of hand tools for assembly and repair tasks Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other farm or industrial machinery Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and maintenance procedures Physical ability to lift heavy components safely during maintenance tasks; comfortable working in various environmental conditions Join us as a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician to make a tangible impact by keeping essential machinery operating at peak performance!
