Job Description

The Workshop Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing construction equipment, installing and testing GPS and specialized machine attachments, and ensuring overall equipment performance and functionality. This role also supports scheduled maintenance, field service operations, and the day-to-day management of the shop facility, tools, and workspace organization. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in both shop and field environments while supporting overall operational efficiency. 1. Equipment Inspection & Diagnostics Perform routine visual and operational inspections of construction equipment. Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Record and report any abnormalities or safety concerns. 2. Repair & Replacement Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts. Service engines, hydraulic systems electric systems and components. Perform calibration and software updates on electronic control systems. 3. GPS device &Special attachment installation Mount, wire, and set up GPS systems and special attachments. Ensure proper operation through system calibration and performance checks. Diagnose issues, perform calibration, SW update or adjustments Ensure all installations meet safety and operational standards. 4. Preventive Maintenance Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication. Ensure machinery meets operational and safety standards. 5. Testing & Performance Verification Conduct post-maintenance operational tests to ensure proper performance. Monitor machine performance, including engine, hydraulic, electrics, structure and GPS/special attachment . Troubleshoot and correct any post-service issues. 6. Managing workshop facilities & working environment Maintain all tools and valuable equipment/Device to ensure their availability and proper condition. Keep the workshop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards 7. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed service records including parts replaced, maintenance performed, and inspection findings. Submit reports to supervisors or senior technicians. Assist in tracking spare parts inventory and requesting replacements as needed. 8. Safety & Compliance Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in safety audits and workshops as required 9. Team Collaboration & Support Assist and coordinate all Xpanner members in complex site issues. Provide support for urgent on-site solutions.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5~7 years of experience with equipment repairing and maintenance Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and engine operation systems for repairing and diagnosis Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Comfortable with digital tools and technical programs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and site collaboration.
