In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty vehicle frames and related components. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and operates at peak performance. Duties Perform detailed inspections of heavy-duty vehicle frames, chassis, and structural components using schematics and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace damaged or worn-out frames utilizing welding, fabrication, and assembly techniques with power tools and hand tools. Conduct alignment procedures to ensure proper operation. Diagnose mechanical issues related to hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and electrical components. Utilize heavy equipment operation skills to safely lift and maneuver large parts during repairs or assembly processes. Maintain accurate service records, complete detailed reports on repairs performed, and follow safety protocols rigorously. Assist in the fabrication of custom parts or modifications using welding techniques such as soldering and arc welding to meet specific project needs. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working with heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge across various systems including hydraulics, shocks & struts, brakes, and suspensions. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, welding, fabrication, and the use of schematics for complex repairs. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on large vehicle frames or components. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients alike.
