$100,000 to $120,000+ per year (Based on experience) plus Performance Based Bonus.
Location:
Amarillo, TX (10% Travel Required).

The Opportunity You will serve as a critical leadership expert, driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial, industrial, and federal mechanical systems from pre-construction to final closeout. This role allows you to showcase your advanced financial and operational expertise while managing high-stakes builds for a dedicated family-owned company. You will enjoy the autonomy of leading comprehensive project operations, backed by an established mechanical contracting team. How You Will Make an Impact Lead high-value mechanical projects completely from pre-construction phases through final closeout and commissioning. Manage comprehensive project financials including budgeting, accurate forecasting, change orders, and monthly cost-to-complete reports. Supervise project management teams while collaborating closely with superintendents, foremen, estimators, and specialized subcontractors. Serve as the primary operational contact for general contractors, building owners, engineers, and material vendors. Enforce strict safety compliance protocols and quality control standards across all assigned mechanical jobsites. Resolve real-time logistical challenges and design obstacles on site to maintain strict project timelines. Required Qualifications & Experience Proven project management experience specifically within mechanical contracting or large-scale commercial construction. Deep technical knowledge of commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping systems, building codes, and mechanical specifications. Proficiency with industry-standard project management platforms, such as Procore, to track ongoing project documentation. Willingness to travel up to 10% across the state of Texas to oversee active regional project builds. Strong communication, financial management, and leadership skills necessary for directing diverse construction operations. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience managing commercial, industrial, or federal mechanical projects. Demonstrated success overseeing high-stakes mechanical installations within institutional facilities, such as hospitals or schools. Advanced background in mechanical cost-control, material logistics management, and crew coordination. Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay cycle and performance-based bonuses available.
