Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Mobile Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will provide professional on-site repair and maintenance services for a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets at various locations across North East Texas. Your expertise will ensure our clients' equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting operations across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities On-Site Diagnostics & Repair:
Perform diagnostic assessments and repairs on heavy trucks, 18-wheelers, trailers, and heavy equipment.
System Troubleshooting:
Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems involving diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, air brakes, electrical systems, and HVAC systems.
Routine Maintenance:
Conduct oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and steering fixes to ensure optimal performance.
Fabrication:
Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, soldering, and power tools to meet specific operational needs.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed service records of all repairs performed, documenting findings and parts used for accountability and future reference.
Emergency Assistance:
Provide 24/7 roadside aid, including battery jump starts and flat tire repairs, to ensure customers are never left stranded.
Machinery Operation:
Safely operate heavy machinery, such as tractor-trailers and industrial equipment, during repair or installation procedures.
Skills & Qualifications Technical Expertise:
Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel mechanics, hydraulics, and automotive electrical systems.
Schematic Proficiency:
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex machinery repair.
Diagnostic Skills:
Extensive experience with automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance for commercial trucks and trailers.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high attention to detail during complex repairs.
Customer Service:
Excellent problem-solving skills and a professional demeanor to provide exceptional service to stranded drivers and fleet operators.

Proven experience as a certified technician handling everything from minor repairs to major engine overhauls.
