Job Description

Job Overview Gondola Skate Moving Systems is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and preparing Gondola Skate equipment in our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in producing quality results, and can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, repair, and service Gondola Skate equipment and components. Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs. Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively. Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and quality standards are met. Disassemble and reassemble equipment as needed for repairs and refurbishment. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and completed work. Assist with equipment preparation, staging, and inventory management. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards. Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production and repair deadlines. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools. Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, or related fields is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical problems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
