Position Overview La Quinta Used Auto Parts is seeking an experienced Auto Dismantler to join our team. The Auto Dismantler will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling vehicles, recovering parts for resale, and ensuring all components are handled, labeled, and stored properly. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of auto mechanics, and the ability to work with power and hand tools in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Safely dismantle vehicles while preserving parts for resale. Use power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment to remove engines, transmissions, and other vehicle components. Identify, label, and organize recovered parts for inventory. Drain fluids from vehicles following environmental and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work closely with team members to meet productivity goals. Requirements 12 months of previous auto dismantling or mechanic-related experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems. Ability to safely operate tools and equipment. Physical ability to lift and move heavy parts. Commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures. Pay will depend on previous experience.
