Position range in Lubbock County $39k•$60k Per Year Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic
KIRBY•SMITH
This person will be a specialist on Kleeman Crushers. They are dispatched through the service office and typically work with little supervision. Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/MechanicEssential Functions Diagnoses andevaluates problems with equipment (focus on Kleeman Crushers) and makes repairs using established guidelines in accordance with established flat rates Models safe work habits and abides by all safety policies and procedures at all times Keeps rework within established guidelines Works effectively without close supervision Makes overnight stays on or near job sites when required Completes required paperwork efficiently and timely Attends factory and other training as specified by the supervisor Maintains service truck in good working condition and keeps it clean Exhibits a professional demeanor at all times with customers, managers, and colleagues Promotes goodwill with customers and exhibits excellent customer relations behaviors Performs other assignments as requested by the manager Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/MechanicQualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Two (2) years of continuous experience in diagnosing and repairing construction equipment Ability to read complex hydraulic and electrical schematics Furnishes and maintains a set of hand tools and any special tools required by the company Maintains a valid driver's license Crusher Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician/Mechanic Physical Requirements Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 100 pounds without assistance Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold andwet, damp, dusty, or windy conditions and tolerate exposure to typical noises, hazardous materials, and fumes/odors Physical ability to perform maintenance on equipment for extended hours with continual mounting and dismounting throughout the workday Ability to adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintain individual PPE infunctional condition This is considered a Safety-Sensitive position.
