Responsibilities:

Operates one of the following equipment to accomplish task: Crane & Forklifts Prior to operating equipment, conducts routine inspections to identify needed maintenance or repairs. Stack and prepare all trailers that will be shipping to various locations across the country. Operate various hand tools for trailer prepping. Pack product in a manner to avoid damages and maintain load stability to ensure driver safety. Monitors gauges and other indicators to ensure safe operation. Performs or requests necessary repairs and adjustments to equipment. Report any incident (injury, illness, near miss), or safety hazard to immediate supervisor. Properly wear, care, clean, maintain, store, and inspect PPE as required. Only perform tasks that you are properly equipped and trained to perform. Operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Take responsibility for your personal wellbeing and that of others Actively participate in EHS training and investigations. Tasks vary by department.

Qualifications:

Understanding of practices involved in the use of various types of equipment: Cranes & forklifts Understanding of safety rules and ability to safely operate machinery. Frequent exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold and airborne particles. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
