FIELD SERVICE MECHANIC
Dave's Diesel Repair LLC is looking for an experienced Field Service Mechanic to join our team serving agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment customers throughout East Texas.
Pay :
$30
  • 40 per hour (based on experience)
Benefits :
Overtime pay, performance bonuses, paid time off, company service truck provided Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair agricultural, construction, and diesel equipment in the field
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and fuel system issues
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed
  • Complete service calls independently with minimal supervision
  • Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service truck
  • Accurately document repairs and completed work Requirements
  • 5+ years of diesel, heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, or field service experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and heavy equipment
  • Welding and fabrication experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass drug-screening
  • Must provide your own hand tools (all other tools provided)
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds Expectations

  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude
  • Work safely and efficiently
  • Produce quality repairs with minimal comebacks
  • Diagnose equipment correctly
  • Keep customers informed and represent the company professionally
  • Maintain strong billable hours and productivity Ideal Candidate We're looking for a self-motivated mechanic who can drive to a jobsite, diagnose equipment problems, communicate with the customer, and complete repairs without constant supervision.
