Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of heavy construction equipment, ensuring their safe and efficient operation. We encourage you to apply if you have experience in mechanical repairs and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment, including but not limited to Klemm, Hyundai, Schwing, Bauer, Gradall & Caterpillar machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, including hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems
  • Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Professional attendance
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of heavy equipment systems
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Familiarity with various construction drills, air compressors, concrete pumps, forklifts, and trucks is highly desired.
  • Experience with hydraulics, electrical, and air brake systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team We offer competitive pay based on experience.
