Job Description

THIS IS A LOCATION ON THE JOB SITE FOR DIMENSION ENERGY SOLUTIONS/FORTRESS SOLUTIONS LOCATED - SAN ANTONIO, TX
Job Summary Responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, inspection, and deployment of the company's heavy equipment fleet. This role ensures all trucks, trailers, and equipment run, safe, and ready for the field. Handle day-to-day issues, breakdowns, and make sure crews have what they need to get the job done. Key Responsibilities Maintain detailed equipment logs for crew trucks, dump trucks, trailers, and excavation equipment Perform daily visual inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure safety and readiness Manage maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and crews to allocate and transport equipment as needed Handle breakdowns and day-to-day equipment issues Arrange transport of equipment to appropriate vendors for repairs and service Obtain repair estimates and secure management approval for major work Perform minor in-house repairs (batteries, small hydraulic lines, hydraulic cylinders, etc.) Track and document all maintenance, inspections, and repair history Monitor maintenance costs and support budget control efforts Work with vendors and mechanics to ensure timely, cost-effective repairs Qualifications Hands-on experience with heavy equipment or fleet maintenance Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair practices Highly organized with communication and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Mechanically inclined — able to diagnose issues and understand how equipment works Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
