Department of Public Works The Town o f Manchester, VT is accepting applications for the Road Crew/Equipment Operator position. This position is responsible for the plowing, road repair, roadside mowing, culvert work, cha in sa w operation, equipment maintenance, and other duties. Requirements include a clean driving record, a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) o r ability to acquire CDL, need to pass drug/alcohol tests, and to perform strenuous physical tasks. Highway/road maintenance experience preferred. This is a full-time, year-round position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, short-term disability, vacation time, and a substantial 4 0 1 (a ) contribution. Pay range is commensurate with experience, $2 4 .0 0 -$2 7 .0 0 per hour with a $2 ,0 0 0 .0 0 sign-on bonus. 9 7 % employer contribution to health insurance premiums, with a n optional FSA for additional pre-tax savings o n healthcare costs. 1 0 0 % employer-paid dental insurance 6 % automatic employer contribution to a 401 (a ) retirement account, plus the option to contribute to a 457 (b ) account.
