Job Description

Culbert Construction Inc is a Heavy Civil and Infrastructure General Contractor that has been successfully contracting in the Eastern Washington for over 27 years. A position on the CCi team will give you the opportunity to work on late model heavy equipment and trucks. Mostly in field but some in shop. Potential teammate must have at least 8 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience. Duties include but are not limited to, Mechanical requirements must be proficient at the following Repair or maintenance on a variety of machinery with an emphasis on trucks,trailers and heavy equipment. Repair gas and diesel engines. Hydraulic and electrical systems. Fabrication & Welding Temperament and experience Requirements. Good Moral Character Work safely by yourself and with others. Five years in relative mechanical field. A great attitude. Must have complete set of tools. Ability to climb ladders and work in awkward positions Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to work in high pressure environments Drug free. Driving Requirements. Clean driving record. Must have a CDL with hazmat or be able to obtain one in within 60 days Management Requirements Create and maintain work orders. Schedule and track preventative maintenance and repairs. Track and report repair and purchase needs to upper management. Ability to prioritize multiple repairs and manage time independently Maintain a safe, cleanly and positive work environment. Cross train newer technicians Continually evaluate efficiencies of processes. Communicate to all employees about needs, procedures, and jobs well done. Position has potential to develop into Equipment and Maintenance Manager. Compensation and benefits Great team to work with and environment to work in. Safe and secure work environment.
