Job Description

Be a problem-solver, the hands-on expert, and the force that keeps our customers moving. At Swiderski Equipment, Service Technicians are at the heart of what we do. This role is for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in fixing things the right way, and wants variety in their day—from diagnostics and repairs to setup and installation. If you're mechanically inclined, like staying busy, and want to build a career working on agriculture and construction equipment, this role was built for you. What You'll Do As a Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain agriculture and construction equipment to keep our customers productive and running efficiently. Your work may take place in the shop or at customer locations, depending on the job.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agriculture and construction equipment following manufacturer procedures and quality standards Installing, setting up, and preparing new and used equipment for customers and dealer inventory Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Completing repairs safely, professionally, and in a timely manner Documenting work performed, parts used, and labor accurately Providing outstanding customer service when working directly with customers Managing a variety of tasks, from long-term projects to daily service needs Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area Traveling to customer sites, trainings, and meetings as needed What It Takes to Succeed This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys mechanical work and solving hands-on problems Brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic to every job Can stay organized and productive in a fast-paced service environment Is detail-oriented and committed to doing quality work Can balance longer-term projects with day-to-day service needs Is willing to work extended hours during peak seasons, including some evenings and weekends What You'll Bring Mechanical and technical aptitude (experience preferred) Interest or experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems Ability to use standard desktop computer applications Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities Clean driving record and valid driver's license required Ability to travel for training and meetings, as needed Must provide own basic hand tools Prior experience in agriculture, diesel, or heavy equipment service strongly desired Agriculture background a plus Why Join Team Swiderski?
