Service Lead, Store Manager & Corporate Service Manager Supervises:

None Purpose:

Independently performs advanced diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural and turf equipment. May require some direction or guidance from the Corporate Service Manager, Store Location Manager, or Shop Foreman.

Responsibilities:

o Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment o Participates in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge o Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products o Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment o Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion o Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments o Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments o Accounts for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties o May perform diagnosis and repair in the field o Performs all other tasks as directed by the

Shop Foreman or Service Manager Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

o 3+ years of experience performing service repairs o Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures o Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment o Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly o Understand schematics and equipment manuals o Self-starter and self-motivated o Hands on learning o Must enjoy getting dirty and laughing with others o High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
