Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions effectively. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to identify and implement equipment improvements. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess machinery performance. Assist in training new employees on maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in mechanics preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in equipment maintenance. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
