Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Appliance Technician to join our field service team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers receive prompt, reliable service that exceeds expectations. This position offers the opportunity to work independently in the field, utilizing your mechanical and electrical knowledge to solve complex appliance issues efficiently. Your proactive approach and excellent customer service skills will help build trust and satisfaction with every interaction. Responsibilities Diagnose appliance malfunctions by analyzing customer complaints and inspecting units using schematics and technical manuals Perform repairs on appliances such as refrigeration units, HVAC systems, dishwashers, ovens, and laundry machines with precision and care Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble appliances according to manufacturer specifications Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively Conduct equipment repairs both on-site at customer locations and during delivery or pickup when necessary Assist with the assembly of new appliances or equipment as needed for installation or demonstration purposes Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job Experience Proven service technician experience in appliance repair or related field service roles Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals is essential Experience working with refrigeration systems and HVAC equipment is highly desirable Previous delivery driver experience with a box truck or similar vehicle is a plus for efficient job site access Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service appointments efficiently Join us to deliver exceptional appliance repair services that keep homes running smoothly!
