QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN APPLIANCE REPAIR TECHNICIAN 2
years of professional experience as food equipment and refrigeration technician with a service company. Valid driver's license and a good driving record Must be willing to submit to a background check. Excellent customer service Must be authorized to work in the US. EPA license Job Responsibilities for Appliance Repair Technician As a valued member of Bay Master Appliance Services (BMAS), you will be responsible for:
Diagnosing Appliance Issues:
Independently examining customers' appliances to identify the cause of breakdowns. Confirming diagnoses with supervisors or support lines when needed.
Repair and Maintenance:
Fixing broken equipment based on the diagnosed issues. Performing routine maintenance of customers' food equipment and refrigeration systems to ensure longevity.
Customer Interaction:
Providing clear and accurate estimates to customers. Repairing or replacing defective components with customer approval. Offering guidance to customers on the correct usage of appliances.
Resource Utilization:
Utilizing smartphones to look up parts, diagrams, and instructional videos. Maintaining an accurate record of all items and parts used for repairs, replacements, or maintenance.
Installation and Billing:
Installing appliances for customers following manufacturer guidelines in a professional manner.
Logistics and Vehicle Management:
Keeping the company vehicle organized and well-maintained. Returning parts to the office or sellers as needed.
Professionalism:
Clocking in and out in a professional manner. Attending company meetings and gatherings at the company headquarters.
Continuous Learning:
Attending technical and professional training/courses both on campus and online.

$33.00 - $42.00 per hour
