RF Microwave Technician Job Description:

PrideStaff is working with a local company seeking a highly skilled and experienced RF Microwave Technician to join its production team. The RF Microwave Technician will be responsible for testing, verification, and troubleshooting of RF modules and satellite communication systems. The ideal RF Microwave Technician has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in RF integration and testing and has a thorough understanding of RF systems. The RF Microwave Technician is a full-time, direct-hire position in Monrovia, CA.

RF Microwave Technician Job Responsibilities:

Assemble, Program & Perform Acceptance Test Procedures for Satellite Communication Assemblies That Meet all Technical Specifications. Collect & Document Accurate Test Data Using Specialized RF & Optical Test Equipment Maintain Complex Test Setups & Laboratory Equipment Including Troubleshooting Activities on Faulty Units, to Ensure all Equipment Meets Required Specifications Identify and Suggest any Process Improvements to RD Test Procedures, Work Instructions & any Workflow Improvements to Increase Efficiency & Reliability Adhere to

Electronic Laboratory Protocols Including ESD Safety, Equipment Handling Standards & Contamination Control Follow All Safety & PPE Requirements RF Microwave Technician Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Minimum of 3 Years Hands-on Experience in RF Integration & Testing; Satellite Communications or Aerospace Industry Experience Preferred Must be Technically Proficient in Operating RF Test Equipment Including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, RF Power Meters, Oscilloscopes & Signal Generators Must Have a Thorough Understanding of RF System Concepts Must be Proficient with RF Connectors & be Able to Read & Understand Complex Schematics, Block Diagrams & Engineering Drawings Strong Attention to Detail, Troubleshooting Skills & Good Communication (Written & Verbal) are Required Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Fiber Optics Knowledge and Splicing Experience are
