The ideal candidate is a thorough tech that has excellent communication skills and is comfortable working with electromechanical equipment. The Service Technician travels to customer sites to install, repair, and maintain super-automatic espresso machines. Installations will include driving to the customer site, moving the espresso machine into place, hooking the machine up to the plumbing and electrical outlet, calibrating the machine, installing a water softening system, and training the client on the use and maintenance of the machine. The technician will also be responsible for using deductive analysis and troubleshooting to repair broken machines, conducting preventative maintenance services, and communicating all service issues to the customers. Additional duties include completing applicable paperwork, selling additional services and supplies to customers, and maintaining the warehouse and workshop. Responsibilities and Duties Repair espresso machines at customer sites. Repairs include working with the electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic components of the super-automatic espresso machines. Install new espresso machines Train customers Qualifications and Skills Excellent communication and a customer service attitude are required. A strong understanding of AC and DC circuitry is essential. The ability to manage time with minimal supervision is mandatory. Able to handle and use a variety of tools. Licenses and Certifications A valid California Driver License is required. A clean driving record.
